Women’s National Boxing Championships to take place in Hisar

New Delhi: The National Women’s Boxing Championship will start from October 21 to 27 in Hisar, Haryana. The completion of the contenders will be taken into record while choosing the team for the world championships in December.

The game will be staged at St Joseph’s International School in Hisar. This event will mark the return of women’s national championships following a gap of more than one year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“…the performances will be considered when the selection panel will meet to finalize the squad for the forthcoming AIBA World Championships which is programmed later this year,” the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) stated.
